Solid polycarbonate sheets are produced by a high-quality extrusion method and, although half the weight of glass, are very durable. Thanks to their unbreakable structure, they are preferred in areas where safety is a priority. Able to become bulletproof when installed at an angle, these sheets are ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Resistant to fire and high heat, solid polycarbonate sheets deliver long-lasting performance unaffected by the sun’s harmful rays, thanks to double-sided UV protection.

Construction sector

The construction sector demands transparent materials that can withstand harsh conditions, are reliable, light, available in special colours and affordable. There is only one material that provides all these properties: POLİCAM Solid Polycarbonate sheet. 200 times stronger than glass and almost impossible to break, produced with a 10-year warranty, half the weight of glass, easily coloured, and more affordable than glass while carrying all these properties. Thickness: 2 – 15 mm Standard Sizes: 2050*3050 mm For special orders, the length can go up to 8 metres. Colours: Clear, White, Opal, Bronze, Smoke, Blue, Green

LIGHTING and ELECTRICAL PANELS

These sheets, with different levels of light transmission, are enriched with high-efficiency diffuser particles that soften and homogenise the light source. Thanks to their high heat resistance (maximum continuous operating temperature 130°C) and their ability to extinguish themselves when the ignition source is removed (B1 / Class 1Y / UL 94 HB flammability class), polycarbonate sheets are ideal materials for light fittings and electrical panels. Thickness: 1-5 mm Standard Sizes: 2050*3050 mm Colours: Clear, Opal 50, Opal 60, Opal 76, Diffuser White

Safety

In safety applications, no material can replace polycarbonate. POLİCAM polycarbonate sheets are almost unbreakable. With half the density of glass, they make helmets, shields, goggles and similar products easy to use and carry. Polycarbonate can be easily drilled, cut and edge-polished. With heat forming, deep draws and sharp corners can be obtained easily. Thickness: 1-5 mm Standard Sizes: 2050*3050 mm Colours: Clear, White, Opal, Bronze, Smoke, Blue, Green

Frequently asked questions

Which thicknesses are available?

Clear solid polycarbonate is stocked in 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 mm, with bronze also in 4 mm. Sheets are 205 × 305 cm; 1 mm also comes in 100 × 205, 122 × 205, 122 × 244 and 125 × 205 cm.

Solid or multiwall polycarbonate?

Solid polycarbonate is a full, glass-clear sheet for sign faces, protective panels and safety uses. Multiwall polycarbonate has internal channels and is lighter; it is preferred for roofs, canopies and covers that need insulation.

How many parts fit on a sheet?

In our cutting calculator choose polycarbonate as the material; it nests the parts from your SVG on 205 × 305 cm sheets and shows sheet count and waste.
