APET Sheet

Product information

APET sheet is a transparent, durable and lightweight plastic widely used in packaging food and drinks, especially convenient-size soft drinks, fruit juices and water. APET (Amorphous PET) sheet is produced by extruding a copolymer of Polyethylene Terephthalate (APET), a thermoplastic polyester. With glossy clarity, high mechanical properties and thermoforming ability, APET sheet is an ideal material for packaging applications. APET, PET or PETG sheets are among the most advanced plastic sheets in the world; thanks to their glycol-modified structure they can be shaped easily and offer superior impact resistance. It can be cut on guillotine and laser machines without pre-drying. In terms of heat resistance, the continuous service temperature should not exceed 60-65°C.

High Impact Resistance

APET sheets offer a sturdy material with an impact-resistant structure.

Excellent Transparency

Provides glass-like transparency for a clear, glossy look.

FDA and BGA Compliant

A material suitable for food contact and harmless to health.

Recyclable

Recyclable and environmentally friendly.

Easy to Shape

Can be shaped into the desired forms thanks to its thermoforming ability.
