Personal Data Protection Notice

This notice is subject to Turkish law and is provided in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”). It explains:

  1. Which of your personal data is collected through the website www.astareklam.com.tr (the “Site”),
  2. How the collected data is used and with whom it is shared,
  3. Your rights over the processed data and how you can exercise them,
  4. How you can change your electronic commercial message preferences.

1. Personal Data Collected

To serve you better; to carry out and complete order processes; to communicate with you; to inform you about products, services, campaigns and promotions; to perform trend and statistical analyses; and to strengthen Site security, we process the following data:

  • Name, surname, Turkish ID or tax ID number, date of birth, gender
  • Email address, phone number, billing and delivery address details
  • Profile information obtained from social media accounts with explicit consent
  • Technical and usage data such as order date, Site browsing statistics and IP address
  • Performance of a contract: For order, invoicing and delivery processes
  • Explicit consent: Where you give consent for matters such as campaigns, newsletters and the use of cookies
  • Legitimate interest: To improve service quality, and for customer analyses and marketing activities
  • Legal obligation: For record-keeping and reporting obligations arising from Laws No. 5651, 6563, 5237 and 6698

3. Credit Card and Payment Data

When payment is made by credit or debit card, information such as the card number, expiry date and CVV2 code is shared with banks, but this information is not stored in our systems in any way.

4. Store Records

Contact and record details you give us verbally in our stores are processed, in line with your explicit consent, for use in special campaigns, promotions, and return and exchange processes.

5. Statistical and Analytical Data

Aggregated statistical data that does not contain personal information, such as visit frequency, visit times and the product pages clicked, is collected for service improvement and analysis purposes.

6. Sharing of Data

Your personal data may be shared only with:

  • Cargo, call centre, payment and data processing service providers,
  • Official authorities within the scope of legal obligations.

In all other cases, data is not shared for commercial purposes or with third parties.

7. Retention and Anonymisation

If a membership is cancelled or ends, records are retained in anonymised form; anonymous data is not considered personal data.

8. Rights of the Data Subject

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, with regard to your personal data, you have the right to:

  1. Learn whether your data is being processed,
  2. Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
  3. Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
  4. Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
  5. Request deletion or destruction of your data,
  6. Request that your data be transferred,
  7. Object to processing carried out by automated systems,
  8. Claim compensation if your public or private rights are violated.

9. Security and Notification in Case of a Breach

We take technical, physical and administrative measures to protect your information. In the event of a breach, we will notify both you and the Personal Data Protection Board without delay.

10. Updates to This Notice

This notice may be updated from time to time. The updated notice takes effect as soon as it is published on the Site, and our members are informed.
