Corrugated polycarbonate sheets are a durable and practical building material with superior properties in many areas compared with conventional light-transmitting and covering materials. Thanks to their transparent structure, they offer light transmission as high as glass, while being 6 times lighter and 200 times more impact resistant than glass. Heat resistant and easy to machine, corrugated polycarbonate sheets are preferred in various applications such as greenhouses, roof coverings and advertising boards. The standard size is 2100 x 1200 mm, and wide and long sizes can be produced. Features such as UV protection, superior thermal insulation, a water-repellent surface and easy shaping widen their range of use. Being light and transportable in rolls, they are very easy to transport and install.

Frequently asked questions
Which thicknesses and colours are available?
Multiwall polycarbonate is stocked in 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm, in clear, bronze and white, from Alfalux, Eypol, Gallina and Policam. Alfalux comes in 4 mm clear, bronze and white; 8 mm bronze and white; 10 mm clear and bronze. Ask your branch about opal and other colours.
What size are the sheets and how are they joined?
Sheets are 2.10 × 6 m. Adjacent sheets are joined with an H profile matching the thickness (8 and 10 mm, 6 m, in stock); ends are closed with an aluminium bottom cap and U end profile.
Which thickness should I choose?
Thin sheets (4–6 mm) are light and economical for small canopies and decorative covers. Wide spans and roofs with snow and wind load call for 8–10 mm; set the purlin spacing to the manufacturer’s recommendation.
