      Sizes and example

      The tool opens with Other (custom size) and the five 5 mm foam board sizes: 50 × 70, 70 × 100, 100 × 140, 122 × 244 and 152 × 305 cm, with a 3 mm cutting gap.

Example: 24 boards of 30 × 40 cm (2.88 m²) fit on one 122 × 244 cm sheet in a straight grid, about 97% efficiency. On 100 × 140 cm sheets (9 per sheet) the job needs 3 sheets and efficiency drops to 69%.

Source: foam board sizes from the Asta Reklam stock list (AstaFlow, October 2026); waste and efficiency as defined by the tool. The result is an approximate estimate.

      Frequently asked questions

Which foam board sizes does the tool try?

      This page opens with the five 5 mm stock sizes - 50 × 70, 70 × 100, 100 × 140, 122 × 244 and 152 × 305 cm. You can remove sizes or add your own in “Other (custom size)”.

Is a small or a large sheet more economical?

It depends on the part size. If parts divide a small sheet evenly, it wastes little; otherwise a large sheet leaves less offcut. The tool compares sheet count and efficiency for every size and recommends the best.

How do I turn the result into a quote?

Add the calculation to the project basket and use “Request a quote”; sheet size and count are included and our branch replies with price and stock.
