PET-G (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a versatile plastic material known for its superior transparency, impact resistance and machinability. Thanks to its chemical resistance, it is often preferred in applications such as signs, display products and personal protective equipment. It also offers high print quality, making it an excellent material for digital printing and point-of-sale display units. PETG is an environmentally friendly option, being 100% recyclable. This material is 15 times more durable than acrylic and is preferred especially in areas that require high impact resistance. It can be processed excellently into complex shapes and by deep drawing. PETG has FDA and USDA approvals that make it suitable for food contact. Common areas of use include indoor signs, display units, vending machine panels and face protection equipment. Thanks to its resistance to chemicals, impact and heat, PET-G is frequently used in the security, medical and retail sectors.
