Frequently asked questions
What voltage is neon strip LED?
We stock 24 V 8 mm silicone-capped neon (9 W/m) and 12 V 6 mm RGB and pixel RGB neon. The voltage of the other series is on the product label; always use a power supply that matches the strip voltage.
What power supply does neon strip need?
Multiply metres by W/m and then by 1.25. For example, 12 m of 9 W/m neon is 108 W; 108 × 1.25 = 135 W. In neon mode the LED calculator also works out feed points, profile length and clips.
How is neon strip cut and sealed?
Cut only at the scissor marks. Seal cut ends with a silicone end cap and suitable adhesive; square and oval cutters for neon silicone are in stock.
