Frequently asked questions

Which roll width is vehicle wrap film?

Our coloured cast wrap films are 152 cm wide (152.7 cm for Unifol) on 50 m rolls; piano black for roofs also comes in 25 m rolls. Most vehicle panels come out of a 152 cm roll in one piece.

What do air-release channels do?

Fine channels in the adhesive let air escape during application, so no bubbles remain and installation is faster and cleaner. The Oracal 970RA series has air-release channels.

How many metres for one vehicle?

It depends on the vehicle class and the areas wrapped. Our vehicle wrap calculator works out the length needed from a 152 cm roll, plus laminate, for classes such as sedan, SUV and panel van. Buy the film for one job from a single batch to avoid colour differences.
