Frequently asked questions
Which weights and widths are available?
Front-lit coated banner comes in 11 widths from 1.05 to 4.20 m at 380 g and in 1.10 and 3.20 m at 510 g. The backlit series is 380, 480 and 510 g; the black-back series is 380 g. All on 50 m rolls.
What is the difference between coated and laminated banner?
In coated banner the PVC is applied as a liquid onto the polyester scrim, giving a smoother surface and higher strength. In laminated banner a PVC film is heat-bonded to the scrim, which is more economical. Coated banner is preferred for long-term and backlit jobs.
What is black-back banner for?
The black back blocks light and whatever is behind the banner, so the print does not show through on double-sided jobs or surfaces lit from the front.
